A high refund rate serves only as a warning signal of product problem. It’s often wise to check out the publisher’s pitch page. If you see the pitch page containing vast amount of magical claims, then it might very well have been the publisher’s fault in causing such high refund rate.
But if the publisher’s pitch page is claiming nothing fancy with cautionary statements and disclaimers, then you bet there are some affiliates out there over-hyping the products, causing buyer resentments.
